Trademarking

A trademark is a name, symbol, or other device identifying a product, officially registered and legally restricted to the use of the owner or manufacturer.

Trademarking the name of your business, your products, logos, slogans, or even your domain names is probably one of the most important business decisions you will make. We’re here to walk with you through the somewhat complex trademarking process. It’s what we do best.

The holders of trademarks can prevent their competitors and other third parties from using their registered marks without permission. A trademark is essential for all companies that profit from product name or business name recognition. Coca-Cola® is the most recognized and admired trademark around the globe.

Companies who fail to register their trademark, or companies currently conducting business using an unregistered trademark, run the risk of losing some or all of their rights to continue to use their mark. This normally occurs when a competitor or unrelated third party trademarks a mark that is the same or substantially similar to an existing mark. Few companies have the financial strength to overcome the full or partial loss of their right to use their own business name, product names, logos, slogans and/or Domain Names. The greatest expense of a trademark is the lack of it.

Who owns your Domain Name anyway? Interested in finding out if your business name or product name is available to be reserved as a Domain Name? If so, just click here for access to our Domain Name search engine.

What is the Cost? One does not have to incur the expense of high hourly attorneys’ fees in order to file a trademark application or conduct a trademark search. Additionally, you must pay the filing fees which can range from $275.00 to $375.00.

In short, our fee and the U.S. Trademark Office filing fee will equal $675.00 per application and per Class. We also offer a variety of Payment Options. Once a trademark search has been performed and you have determined that your mark is available the next step is to prepare and file the trademark application.
